Using ALL scores from every member exhibitor in the Division, the top scoring 15% of competitors (or 150, whichever is less) is eligible for inclusion in Who's Who in Photography.

If ALL exhibitors in a Division fall into the eligible range, only the top 3 will be eligible for the "Tops" box.

Corrections are included in the November issue of the PSA Journal.

Who's Who Information

The minimum number of acceptances is a percentage of the total possible acceptances in each section for that year. The actual minimum number for each Division is listed along with exhibitors attaining at least that minimum requirement.

Additionally, when the minimum number is four or less, exhibitors having acceptances in sections with 20 or fewer judgings must have acceptances in two or more judgings.

The Who’s Who in Photography listing was first created in 1942 to pay tribute to those photographers across the globe who spent a great amount of time and effort submitting images to international competitions, thereby achieving multiple acceptances, honors, and medals.

At that time the competitions were referred to as “Salons". Those photographers who entered the most contests and gained the best scores were honored in the Who’s Who register.   As the years passed, the contests became known as Exhibitions, the number of entrants grew, and the number of awards and acceptances kept pace.

When the “star rating” system was adopted, the entrants who were PSA members had the opportunity to use their acceptances to apply for stars and eventually gain ROPA distinctions.

Model Releases are required to publish an image.  Download the Sample Model Release.

Unreported errors in acceptances may result in incorrect calculation for inclusion in Who's Who.  Exhibitors are requested to use the same form of their name on all exhibition entries to ensure correct credit.

Exhibitors should report catalog errors to the exhibition, and to the appropriate Who's Who Directors.

Corrections to the Who's Who listings must be reported no later than September 1st.

The most successful exhibitors during the year, based on their number of acceptances, are listed in the Top Exhibitors list for each division/section.

All PSA Members who are among the top ten (10) exhibitors in each Division receive a Who's Who certificate.

The first, second, and third places in the Top Exhibitors list are invited to submit two images for possible inclusion in the PSA Who's Who in Photography publication.

May be located in each of the division directories, available from each division main page.
