New for 2024: Prints will be judged as prints however the entrants have the option of Mailing in their eligible prints from the list provided or having PPD Division print them for you prior to the judging.

There will be a Print Origin dropdown menu on the online entry form for you to select the option you wish to use. You still need to upload all your eligible entries in digital format on the entry form, so the image of the print is available for PPD to make a print should your print entry by mail not arrive in time. If you are mailing your prints in and they do not arrive by the deadline, they will be printed for you so you do not miss out on the competition.

The winning prints will be shown in the Print Gallery at the PSA Festival and submitted to the PSA Print Collections Committee. All entrants will receive an invitation from the PPD Image of the Year Directors with the names of the eligible titles/prints. The invitation will have a link to a PSA online site (much like any exhibition site) where they will upload their eligible print titles/entries in digital form. You will need to agree to 2/two PSA statements –click yes and you need to select an option in the Print Origin dropdown menu or your digital files will not be accepted.

All Medal winners will have to sign a permission slip allowing reproduction of their image on the PSA Website and in the PSA Journal. All portraits also need a model release to be published if they win. All medal winning entries/prints, after the judging will be sent for display at the PSA festival.
