This page describes systems used in PSA International Exhibitions and software tools that may assist members learn more about exhibitions.
Exhibition Acceptances Management System (EAMS)
The EAMS database was pioneered around 2013, initially intended as an interim solution, but after 12 years and 10 million records, it remains PSA's only archive of results from international exhibitions.
The accuracy of data within EAMS depends on both exhibitors and exhibition organizers providing complete and correct data, which is not always the case, and therefore you may encounter inadvertent omissions, duplications, and inconsistent
names and titles, and miscoded awards. For this reason, PSA has always encouraged exhibitors to maintain personal records of their exhibition results.
If an exhibitor finds inaccuracies that have a material impact on their application for any photographic distinction, they can notify the coordinator of the program. Corrections to the EAMS database are not always guaranteed, especially for
prior years, where the exhibition organizer is no longer able or willing to upload historical results.
PSA has recently developed software designed to assist members explore their titles, acceptances and awards in the EAMS database:
Displays a matrix of all photographic achievements from exhibitions accumulated in EAMS;
Aggregate awards and PSA golds, not just acceptances and titles;
Lists awards and image acceptances separately from judging and chairing credits;
Provide a drill-down function to explore underlying data;
Export any list or table to Excel (.csv).
PSA Exhibition Data and Details: judges and organizers
While the PSA does not certify judges for photography exhibitions, it recently introduced a worldwide roster of judges. Eventually persons who wish to judge in PSA exhibitions will be required to be listed in this register, and individuals are encouraged
to start updating all relevant info in the register. A separate software tool that queries exhibition data from the new Exhibition Recognition System (ERS2), in place since 2024, enables exhibitors to search recent PSA
international exhibitions by Chair (organizer) name or email (see xViewer below).
Judges Register
Persons are automatically added to the register if they participate as a jury member in a PSA recognized exhibition;
Judges can be removed at the discretion of PSA for non-compliance with PSA exhibition rules or standards;
a person can request to be removed from the register if they no longer wish to judge in PSA exhibitions.
Exhibitions Viewer (xViewer)
This tool allows a PSA member to enter name, email or PSA Recognition number, and the associated Chair and jury will be displayed;
Recent exhibitions potentially hosted by the same organizer will also be listed;
Links to the exhibition website are included for convenience;
This tool relies on exhibition data available from the ERS2 software, introduced after 2023.
The software systems and tools described above are maintained by volunteers on a best efforts basis, and all software is provided AS-IS, without warranty or any guarantee that it will meet your expectations or approval.
