Photography was never of interest to me. My passion was always golf. I used to play 3 to 4 times per week. Evenings at home were becoming boring and I was looking for something else to do. In late 2008, I saw a Beginning Digital Photography
class offered at Cal Poly Pomona. Ten weeks later I was hooked on this activity. Now that I was hooked, without the class assignments, I was lost as to what to do. I learned about the Glendora Camera Club and joined it. The members were so friendly
and helpful. It was a wonderful way to meet people and learn more about photography.
I am fairly competitive and found the S4C competitions to be a huge challenge. I was thrilled to receive several end-of-year awards and honorable mentions
in last year's competition. I was astonished to receive a silver medal in the 2015 Coachella International Exhibition. I have continued my education by taking classes at the Tri-community Photography School. I love to travel and my absolute favorite
thing to do is go on photography tours. My favorite subjects are wildlife, landscape and flowers.
