Ralf has been a member of PSA since 2000 and has received his Galaxy 5 in the Projected Image Division - Color, the Nature Division and the Photo Travel Division. Futhermore, he has a Galaxy 1 from the Projected Image Division - Monochrome.
He received his PPSA in 2007, EPSA in 2011, MPSA in 2015, and MPSA2 in 2022.

Ralf is an active member of the Fotoclub Ansbach near his hometown Heilsbronn, Germany, and he is also a member of the German Association of Photography, DVF. In 2021 he earned the title EFIAP/g from the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP).

Ralf has a wide variety of photographic interests, including scenic landscapes, non-domesticated animals and reduced, minimalistic motifs. A recurring theme of his work is the artistic capture of dynamic movements.
