I am a recent transplant to Henderson, Nevada after retiring from the federal government in Washington, D.C., where I was a forensic photographer and living in Reston, Virginia. While living in Virginia, I had two photographic pursuits, spending every time I could photographing wildlife, both topside and underwater, and becoming a published photojournalist for Civil War reenactments, living history and other related events!

Meanwhile, I had taken a few trips out to the southwest, marveling at the wild beauty of the deserts. Eventually I decided that life here in the southwest would be a great opportunity to explore wildlife photography and spend more time visiting the wonderful state and national parks near my new home.
