Photography was one of my hobbies when I was a high school student. The first camera I used was a Zenit camera, one of the analog cameras at that time, around 1984.


Because I like photography, I also like to upgrade my camera according to the development of technology and also depending on my financial ability.


At the year of 2000, I changed to a Minolta camera, also an analog type, and when camera technology took a new turn and began to develop strongly, I switched to using a digital camera, first a Canon 60D DSLR with a 18-200mm Zoom lens in 2012. Then is a Canon 6D mark II and then a Canon 5D mark IV with Lens 16-35mm and Len 150-600mm until now.


Besides, I also like to travel for hiking, exercise, admire natural scenery and take photos of landscapes. I have visited many National Parks, State Parks, National Monuments, and many famous places and landscapes in the United States… I also like to take photojournalism photos at festivals, events such as: Surfing, Airshow, Rose Parade,...I have also created a group of friends with the same interest in photography to go here and there together to take photos and exchange experiences with each other to develop together.


I started participating in International Photo Contests /Exhibitions from 2018 and so far I have had more than 1000 photos accepted and awarded. Became a PSA member since 2020, applied and received star ratings for the categories: PTD (5 stars), ND (4 stars), PIDC (4 stars), PIDM (3 stars), PJD (3 stars) and received several ROPA distinctions such as: QPSA (2020), AFIAP (2021), PPSA (2021), EPSA (2025).
