John Larson, Jr., FPSA, GMPSA, AFIAP

Since 2004 John has been teaching at Southeastern Community College, mostly Math. He stopped face to face teaching in 2014 and now only teaches online. Having recently moved to Pennsylvania he is always looking for opportunities to take pictures at local sports venues. There seem to be an abundance of State Parks which he is now exploring.

S4C International PJ Open and PJ Human Interest- 2019 S4C International PJ Open and PJ Human Interest- 2020 Coachella PJ Open and PJ Human Interest- 2021 About Him: He graduated from Valparaiso University in 1966 with a B.S.E.E. degree and then from Polytechnic University in 1969 with an MS System Science. He worked for 28 years at General Electric as a Design Engineer and Manager of several groups including assignments in Schenectady, NY, Nashville, TN, Ft. Wayne, IN and Burlington, IA. He then worked as Engineering Systems Manager for Marathon Electric in Wausau, WI for 10 years. After that he "retired" and went to teaching at SCC in Burlington, IA. At the 2019 PSA Convention in Spokane, he met his wife, Carolyn, who is also a photographer and member of PSA. They now live in State College, PA.

John earned his MPSA2 in 2022.
