I started in photography as many did during film days and the magical darkroom. My images have won multiple awards in my local camera club, been published in the Bodie California annual calendar and the North American Nature Photograpers Association annual Showcase.
I know it is said one must develop a photographic style but I find it most enjoyable to seek out new challenges. Forced to choose a favorite, I would most likely choose bird photography. Or perhaps, floral photography or human interest or night skies or sports action. My latest interests are infrared photograpy and digital painting. Photography is a great hobby that never fails to keep me entertained. And I live in a state that offers every situation one could envision for photographic opportunities.
